Privacy Policy

The short version. Pomodoro Focus runs on your device and syncs privately through your own iCloud. There is no account to create, no server of ours, and no tracking. We do not collect, store, or transmit your tasks, your focus history, or anything that identifies you.

Pomodoro Focus ("the app") is developed by Asif Junaid. This policy explains what data the app stores, where that data lives, and what the app does not do.

Data we collect

We collect nothing. Pomodoro Focus has no server of its own, does not require an account, and does not send your tasks, your focus history, your device identifiers, or any analytics about your activity off your device to us.

What the app stores

The app stores the content you create — your tasks, your completed focus sessions, your streaks and statistics, and your settings (timer lengths, sounds, and appearance). This data is kept locally on your device.

iCloud sync

If you are signed in to iCloud, the app syncs this data across your Apple devices using Apple's CloudKit private database, which is tied to your own Apple ID. It stays inside your personal iCloud account; the developer has no access to it and cannot read it. Apple's handling of iCloud data is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. You can turn sync off in the app's settings, or by disabling iCloud for the app in system Settings.

Notifications

With your permission, the app schedules local notifications to alert you when a focus interval or a break ends. These are generated on your device. There is no push server, and no notification content is sent to us.

How your data is used

Everything the app stores is used solely to run your timer, show your task list, and calculate your progress and statistics on your device. None of it is used for advertising or profiling.

Subscriptions and payments

Any in-app purchases are handled entirely by Apple's StoreKit. The app receives only a confirmation that you are entitled to a purchased feature — nothing more. We do not see your Apple ID, payment method, or billing address.

Third parties

Pomodoro Focus does not use any third-party SDKs for analytics, advertising, or crash reporting.

Children

Pomodoro Focus is rated 4+ and does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children under 13.

Your rights and choices

Because we do not collect or store your data on any server of ours, there is nothing for us to delete on request. You stay in control of your data at all times:

Turn off iCloud sync in the app's settings, or in Settings → [your name] → iCloud.
Revoke notification permission in Settings → Notifications → Pomodoro Focus.
Deleting the app removes its data from your device. Data already synced to iCloud can be removed in Settings → [your name] → iCloud → Manage Account Storage.

Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes, the "Last updated" date above will change with it. Material changes will be announced in the app's "What's New" notes on the App Store.
