Privacy Policy
ShareRun ("the app") is developed by Asif Junaid. This policy explains what data the app accesses, what it does with that data, and what it does not do.
Data we access
With your permission, ShareRun reads workout records and associated GPS routes from Apple Health (HealthKit). This includes workout type, date, duration, distance, calories, heart rate, elevation, and route coordinates.
Data we collect
We collect nothing. ShareRun does not have a server, does not require an account, and does not send your Health data, your location, your device identifiers, or any analytics about your workouts off your device.
How your data is used
Your Health data is read on-device and used solely to render workout cards inside the app. Map snapshots are generated locally using Apple Maps. Images you choose to export, share, or save are produced on your device.
Data we store
ShareRun stores a small set of preferences locally on your device — your unit choice, theme choice, and any card presets you save. These never leave your device.
Sharing
When you tap "Share," your device's standard share sheet opens. Whatever you do from there (post to Instagram, send via Messages, save to Photos) is governed by the destination app's own privacy policy, not this one.
Subscriptions and payments
In-app purchases are handled entirely by Apple's StoreKit. ShareRun receives a confirmation that you are entitled to the Pro features and nothing more. We do not see your Apple ID, payment method, or billing address.
Children
ShareRun is rated 4+ and does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children under 13.
Third parties
ShareRun does not use any third-party SDKs for analytics, advertising, or crash reporting.
Your rights
Because we do not collect or store your personal data anywhere outside your device, there is nothing for us to delete on request. You can revoke ShareRun's access to Apple Health at any time in:
- Settings → Privacy & Security → Health → ShareRun
Deleting the app removes all locally-stored preferences.
Changes to this policy
If this policy ever changes, the "Last updated" date above will change with it. Material changes will be announced in the app's "What's New" notes on the App Store.
